Would you buy a Broken iPod nano?

i have an ipod nano that is broken. The actual iPod appears to have all intact parts (screen, earphone jack, charging jack) i dropped it and it just never turned on again. it was only a few months old. :( anyways its purple with a large screen idk the generation but i was wondering if there is a way to make any money off of it? if you know of a website that will pay for the parts, list them in your answer. thanks! im hoping to make like more than $15 off it. Is that realistic?
