In Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility, where do you catch the Saury in Colin's recipe?

I fished around Colin's tree, but I can't find it. It is winter, and I upgraded to an iron fishing rod too, but I cannot find it for the life of me. Please help! (And if you can, can you tell me a fast way to collect lumber in Harvest Moon Animal Parade? I want to have a baby, but I really don't wanna collect the lumber and material...hehe.)
