Can you help me out with getting started with Nike Plus (+)?

I bought some Nike Free Run 2s yesterday, along with some sports earphones and an iPod case..it's time to get serious ;) Well I have an iPod Nano 5th generation and the shoes with sensors built in I guess. What do I do now?
