Can Spray paint on my enclosure background harm my Savannah?

I just made my new Savaannah monitor enclosure and on the background i used a semi-glos black spray paint- i sprayed it over this white linoleum type of material. Now can the heat cause vapor to rise and harm my reptile? or do i have to put like a plexi glass cover over it just to be safe? Please help
